Summer solstice
It’s summer solstice, a time to pause and reflect. In a world that is becoming increasingly worrying, we all need to do all we can to regulate our own nervous system. Finding moments to pause, be mindful, and have a break from it all is essential. I love enjoying the floral fragrances in the garden, especially rose, honeysuckle, lavender, jasmine and mock orange. While we are enjoying this beautiful weather, I’d encourage you to take a moment to stop and focus on whatever brings you JOY (remember that’s my word for the year!).

Vagal toning
Our theme next week is Vagal Toning, which is the final class in the Yoga for Healthy Aging course. I have really enjoyed having a block of classes, and keeping a theme going throughout the six weeks. It’s helped with lesson planning and I think having continuity from week to week has been really helpful, and people in class have told me they’ve enjoyed it too.
The chakras
Our next course starts at the beginning of July where we will be looking at the chakras, and luckily for me, I’ve got a new book which covers both of these topics ! Drop in places for classes will be released once the course has started, so keep an eye on bookwhen.
Please leave a review !
Running a small business is a continual work in progress - to help me along, I would be really grateful if you could leave a google review - it will only take a couple of minutes and would mean the world to me !

This weeks poem and reading
I will leave you with this poem which Arielle Schwartz shared recently, which sums this need for glimmers of hope up nicely.
Until next time
